Partnear was engaged by Council to design a levee bank for flood mitigation in Coleraine Township. During the preliminary design, it became evident that existing drainage infrastructure information was limited. Consequently, Partnear conducted a targeted drainage investigation to gather necessary data, including the arrangement and condition of the existing drainage network.

The investigation assessed stormwater pits and pipes, providing condition scores to inform future maintenance and upgrades. This effort improved data completeness and quality, supporting better asset management and decision-making for Southern Grampians Shire Council, enhancing their ability to prioritise renewals, apply for grants, and manage maintenance costs effectively.
